REST, CREATE, CONNECT, a balance of force.

REST: i am not a death machine. i will not keep myself from life. i will keep my spaces beautiful and utilitarian together. i will make sure i have soft, good-smelling, things near me. i will not dehumanize myself and ignore the good that comes from these small acts of love for my space and my rest. i will trust that i have the skills i need to make my spaces restful.

CREATE: i will join the cycle of creation. i will engage in art, read, watch movies, listen to new music. i will make my own art, and let myself be spurred on by whims and small moments of passion. i will relish in my creation and share with those i love.

CONNECT: i understand the importance of building capacity to connect with others. i want these skills to thrive. i will try to connect more with people, in passing and in more meaningful ways. i will be vulnerable with my friends about my needs around connection. i will recognize all connection, however small, with love and compassion for myself.
